Today, photographs are ever present in our lives. Standards about what we believe to be great photography are drown by literally billions of uploaded photos every day. Cameras are designed to make photography easier, faster, sharper, but what makes a photograph “better”?
More than half a century ago, the famous landscape and nature photographer Ansel Adams described his technique known as ‘visualisation’ inspiring photographers around the world to not just point the camera and push a button, but creating a photograph through a decisive internal process.

Future Fly
Together with Kevin Bressler, Ole Diebold created this windsurfing commercial. The windsurfing brand from Israel is known for its incredible product quality and performance on the water. They shot one day in a studio in Germany and headed to Spain right after to shoot the windsurfing part. My job was to create the music and sound design for it. It has been a pleasure, hopefully soon again !

This project was all about creating foley and soundscape sounds by using the new EQC from Mercedes. So here I am, playing a car with my hands like an instrument to create sounds for nature scenes.

The Hans Brothers and Canon
The Hans Brothers is a short movie about two brothers sharing the same passion, bouldering. This short movie was produced by Nicolai Deutsch and directed by Markus Sies. It gives you an interesting insight in the bouldering culture. To get a very natural and intimate sound, I recorded the climbing noises right on set. Afterwards, I used those sounds as a fundamental for the sound design process. A big thank you to Canon for this opportunity !

AER allows you to capture aerial shots with your Gopro. For the new product trailer, the company asked me if I could add more life to the images using sound design.

Sharks and Humans - A deadly combination
A Nicolai Deutsch project to help raise awareness of the threats faced by sharks. I wrote the score and created the sound design for it.

GONE examines two lovers going separate ways, not knowing when or if their paths will ever cross again.
Can a relationship stand the test of time, separation, traveling back and forth, coming and going, visiting and leaving? Only those will know that have gone the distance.
